Overview:
The coconuts (coperai's) are cleaned and sun dried for about 10-15 days and then the oil is taken out by the traditional "Marachekku".And the oil is allowed to settle for 4-5 days in the settling tanks and then filtered and packed. By this method there is no loss of nutrients in oil. No sulphur and other chemicals used to speed up the process.
